Job summary

Complete Care is seeking a Director of Admissions to lead our admissions team, grow census, and guide families through the healthcare decision process. You will collaborate with hospital partners, referral sources, residents, families, and an interdisciplinary team to ensure a smooth, compassionate transition into our center.

You will oversee inquiries, admissions, and daily census reporting, while maintaining strong customer service and leveraging tools like PointClickCare to optimize

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health care administration or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in admissions in a long-term care setting.
• Knowledge of medical insurance, Medicare and Medicaid; strong customer service skills.
• Proficient with PointClickCare software.

Responsibilities

• Record inquiries, admissions and discharges and assist with daily census reporting.
• Coordinate inquiry process and admission assessments and paperwork.
• Notify facility representatives of admission updates.
• Maintain monthly census records and reconcile with Business Office.
• Provide information on referrals, admissions, and discharges weekly or as requested.
• Communicate with Social Security, Nursing and Business Office about bed availability.
• Evaluate referrals to determine admission candidacy and coordinate home visits as needed.
• Maintain contact with referral sources and hospitals about bed status.
