Job summary

Complete Care in Chicago is seeking an Admissions Director to lead the admissions process and drive census growth. You will manage referrals, screenings, onboarding, and cross-facility coordination to ensure a smooth resident journey.

You’ll build relationships with hospitals, physicians, and families while maintaining compliance, patient safety, and confidentiality. A collaborative, fast-paced environment supports career growth and top-notch resident care.

Qualifications

• High-volume admissions experience in a healthcare or senior living setting.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding census targets.
• Strong knowledge of admissions documentation, screening procedures, and patient safety regulations.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Professional demeanor with a commitment to confidentiality and ethical conduct.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and handle cross-coverage duties.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and respond to referrals, leads, calls, and inquiries from hospital case managers, social workers, physicians, and families.
• Evaluate prospective resident applications and health records against admission criteria to determine acceptance or referrals.
• Complete admission and financial responsibility forms, contracts, and packets accurately and timely.
• Verify health insurance coverage, benefits, and pre-authorizations prior to placement.
• Serve as primary contact during transitions, conduct tours, and address concerns promptly.
• Assist with pre-admission assessments for related living/resident groups as requested.
• Meet and exceed census and occupancy goals; build hospital and community relationships.
• Collaborate with marketing and business development on promotional strategies.
