Job summary

Patina Group, a Delaware North subsidiary, seeks a Director of Catering Operations to lead West Coast catering across venues in Los Angeles, guiding strategy, operations, and financial performance. Overseeing a $5M annual revenue portfolio, you’ll partner with venue leadership, culinary, and sales teams to elevate client experiences and drive growth.

The role requires 7+ years in a senior catering operations position, mastery of P&L, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Director of Catering Operations or similar role.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite and experience developing profit and loss statements.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Catering experience preferred.
• Degree in hospitality or business management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attract and retain a high-performing team and ensure team members follow procedures to maintain the security of all employees, guests, and company assets
• Manage client relationships in a manner that is responsive to client needs while being mindful of return on investment
• Review financial statements and performance data to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement
• Provide solutions to operational issues from top-line sales to bottom-line profit targets
• Establish standard operating procedures for front-of-house team members and ensure standard operating procedures in the back of house are followed
