Wolfgang Puck Catering in Los Angeles is seeking a Catering Operations Manager to guide teams, support clients, and ensure high‑quality execution for on‑ and off‑premise events.

You will collaborate with culinary partners, creative sales leaders, and trusted vendors to deliver the exceptional service Wolfgang Puck is known for, while leading staffing, rentals, and timelines across 300 to 5,000 guest events.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of leadership experience in catering, luxury hospitality, or related environments.
• Strong background in off-premise catering and large-scale events.
• Demonstrated ability to execute events ranging from 300 to 5,000 guests.
• Experience leading teams in high-volume, high-touch hospitality environments.
• Knowledge of catering equipment, service equipment, and event production needs.
• Ability to develop effective labor plans and staffing schedules.
• Experience with budgets, labor planning, and basic financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Partner with clients to understand event vision, priorities, and budgets.
• Collaborate with chefs and culinary leaders to ensure food presented to standards.
• Build front-of-house and back-of-house rental orders (china, glassware, etc.).
• Build kitchens from scratch for off-premise events, plan equipment and workstations.
• Coordinate with rental companies and vendors for onsite execution.
• Manage events from 300 to 5,000 guests, maintaining standards.
• Develop staffing plans and schedules aligned with event needs.
• Communicate across Sales, Culinary, Staffing, Captains, Vendors, and Clients.
• Oversee timelines, production schedules, load-ins/outs, and logistics.
• Anticipate challenges and develop pre-emptive solutions.
• Support budgeting, cost management, and post-event reviews.
