Overseeing a $5M annual revenue portfolio, you’ll partner with venue leadership, culinary, and sales teams to elevate client experiences and drive growth.

The role requires 7+ years in a senior catering operations position, mastery of P&L, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Director of Catering Operations or similar role.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite and experience developing profit and loss statements.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Catering experience preferred.
• Degree in hospitality or business management preferred.

The opportunity

Patina Group, a subsidiary of Delaware North, is hiring a Director of Catering Operations to join our West Coast team in Los Angeles, California. The Director of Catering Operations is responsible for the strategic leadership, operational execution, and financial performance of the company’s catering and event business across multiple cultural centers and event venues. This role oversees all aspects of catering operations, including event execution, client satisfaction, labor management, profitability, venue utilization, and operational standardization.

The Director of Catering Operations will partner with venue leadership, culinary teams, sales personnel, and clients to deliver exceptional event experiences while driving revenue growth and operational excellence. This position serves as the principal leader for a catering business generating approximately $5 million in annual event revenue and is responsible for supporting the ongoing success and growth of existing cultural centers and event venues throughout the portfolio.

Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $119,500 – $161,300 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
