Job summary

Patina Group, a subsidiary of Delaware North, is seeking a Director of Catering Operations to lead our West Coast catering and events portfolio in Los Angeles. You will drive strategic leadership, operational excellence, and financial performance across multiple cultural centers and venues.

The role oversees event execution, client satisfaction, labor management, profitability, and standardization while partnering with venue leadership, culinary, sales, and clients to deliver exceptional

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience as a Director of Catering Operations or similar role in a large restaurant company.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite and experience developing profit and loss statements.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Catering experience preferred; Degree in hospitality or business management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attract and retain a high-performing team and ensure team members follow procedures to maintain the security of all employees, guests, and company assets.
• Manage client relationships in a manner that is responsive to client needs while being mindful of return on investment.
• Review financial statements and performance data to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement.
• Provide solutions to operational issues from top-line sales to bottom-line profit targets.
• Establish standard operating procedures for front-of-house team members and ensure standard operating procedures in the back of house are followed.
