Job summary

Skanska is seeking a Business Development Director to lead growth efforts in central and Northern VA and the Washington DC area. The role partners with local teams, account managers, operations leaders, preconstruction, and senior management to cultivate relationships with high-level clients and community partners.

The successful candidate will bring 8+ years in business development within CM/GC or AE markets, proven multi-project leadership, and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of business development experience in related fields.
• Working knowledge of CM/GC or AE market.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business, Marketing or related field or 8 years equivalent experience plus minimum 10 years prior relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support business development efforts in central and Northern VA market and Washington DC area.
• Establish relationships with high level clients, stakeholders and community partners.
• Collaborate with Mid-Atlantic BD team, account managers, operations leaders, preconstruction, and senior management.
