Position Summary
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and in closer partnership with HFW's architecture and engineering firms, as the Director of Business Development you will be at the forefront of our growth strategy, driving all business development activities with a focus on innovation and impact. Your mission is to identify and engage potential clients in the dynamic data center sector, showcasing our cutting-edge engineering and design services.
You'll be instrumental in building lasting relationships and closing deals that exceed sales targets, ensuring our clients' satisfaction and loyalty. Stay ahead of the curve by immersing yourself in industry trends and networking at major events to position our company as a leader in the market. Collaborate closely with the CFO to shape our budgeting strategies and partner with the marketing team to create a compelling brand presence. Your ability to deliver powerful presentations will amplify our market influence.
This role involves up to 50% travel across the United States, offering an exciting opportunity to expand our reach. We seek a visionary leader with a Master’s degree or equivalent, 10-12 years of experience in the AEC industry and/or data center projects, and exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, all backed by a proficiency in CRM software.
