Director of Business Development at TransPerfect

Responsibilities

• Meet with prospects and clients and deliver sales presentations
• Create customized project proposals and cost estimates
• Negotiate and close deals while ensuring a high level of client satisfaction
• Aggressively pursue new business opportunities with prospective and existing clients
• Collaborate closely with the Senior Project Manager during proposal creation and project launches
• Stay abreast of industry trends and vertical market developments to identify growth opportunities
• Develop and implement sales initiatives
• Achieve sales quota to meet and exceed established targets
• Provide open, clear, two-way communication at all corporate and client levels to ensure alignment with strategic goals

Required Skills

• At least 5–10 years of experience in business development
• BS/BA required or equivalent work experience
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of the Internet and related technologies
• Willingness to learn new techniques, be open to challenges, and thrive on success
