Job Description: Regional Director of Business Development

Job Summary

The Director of Business Development is responsible for driving business growth through strategic planning, opportunity identification, and partnership development. This role leads a high-performing team to meet and exceed revenue goals and plays a key part in expanding the company’s footprint into new and emerging markets. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and experienced leader with a strong business acumen, who is willing and able to travel to build new relationships and evaluate growth opportunities firsthand.

Comp Plan:

$150K-$175K base

15% of annual salary on quarterly goals

Year end bonus of .05% of top line revenue

Vehicle Allowance, company fuel card, laptop, cell

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with company objectives.

- Identify and capitalize on emerging trends and market opportunities to expand brand presence and influence.

- Evaluate and prioritize new markets for expansion, ensuring alignment with the company’s long-term goals.

2. Market Expansion & Travel

- Research, assess, and identify untapped or underserved markets for potential entry.

- Conduct in-person visits to prospective markets to evaluate feasibility, develop local relationships, and assess competition and demand.

- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings in new markets to foster visibility and opportunity.

- Lead, mentor, and manage the business development team to meet individual and team KPIs.

- Oversee the construction project coordinator, ensuring accurate documentation, timely bid tracking, and organized project files.

- Promote a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous growth.

4. Partnership Building

- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, partners, and key industry influencers.

- Collaborate across departments to align business development efforts with organizational goals.

5. Market Analysis

- Conduct thorough market research to identify new clients, partners, and competitive threats.

- Leverage market intelligence to inform strategic decisions and growth initiatives.

- Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing.

- Meet or exceed revenue targets by identifying and securing high-value business opportunities.

7. Reporting & Analysis

- Track and report business development metrics, providing insights and recommendations.

- Deliver regular updates to senior leadership on performance, market shifts, and strategic opportunities.
