Job summary

Blue Origin LLC seeks a seasoned engineering leader to drive avionics software products from development through qualification and production. You will own program roadmaps, manage cost, risk, and schedule while coordinating with QA, Safety, and Enterprise Technology teams to ensure successful spaceflight software operations.

The role requires 10+ years in engineering with avionics/embedded software and at least 5+ years in project management, with a U.S. work authorization.

Qualifications

Proven track record leading teams delivering complex safety-critical embedded software products.
10+ years in relevant engineering field with avionics/embedded software experience.
5+ years in project management or management roles.
U.S. citizen/national or eligible status per regulations.

Responsibilities

Lead program delivery, defining scope and cost control to meet objectives.
Establish software architecture and manage product roadmaps for each program.
Identify risks and develop mitigation plans with stakeholders.
Oversee interfaces with QA, Safety, and Enterprise Technology teams.
Foster talent development and compliance with HR processes.
