Job summary

KemperSports, Inc. is seeking a General Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and strategic development of a premier athletic sports complex in Saraland, Alabama.

This role requires a dynamic leader with a passion for sports, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to create a thriving environment for athletes and visitors. You will lead facilities, programs, events, and partnerships while ensuring safety, financial performance, and an engaging experience for all users.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sports Management, or related field; MBA is a plus.
• Proven leadership in sports facility management or similar role for indoor/outdoor facilities.
• Experience operating a facility with revenue around $1M; strong budgeting and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the athletic complex and strategic development.
• Lead recruitment, training, and supervision of facility staff, coaches, and support personnel.
• Develop and manage budgets, control costs, and maximize revenue streams.
• Identify sponsorships, partnerships, and revenue-generating events; monitor finances.
