Job summary

Kemper Sports Management in Henderson, NV seeks a part-time Sports Lead for Henderson Sport & Social. You will oversee daily operations of the Sports Department, ensure courts, fields, leagues, rentals, and programming are safe, organized, and guest-ready on busy days.

You will mentor Sports Attendants, coordinate with the Sports Facilities Manager and Events team, and uphold the Core True Service philosophy.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification, or ability to obtain.
Experience in sports, recreation, athletics, coaching, or leadership.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop Sports Attendants while assigning daily responsibilities.
Train new team members and oversee opening, closing, court readiness, and checklists.
Verify daily reservations, leagues, tournaments, rentals, and programming.
Coordinate court rotations, tournaments, scheduling conflicts, and daily sports programming.
Partner with other teams to ensure seamless event execution.
Maintain inventory of sports equipment and coordinate repairs.
Serve as first escalation for disputes, equipment concerns, and guest issues.
Supervise Sports Attendants during events to keep on schedule.
Maintain CPR/First Aid certification and respond to emergencies.
Complete additional operational and leadership duties as assigned.
