Job summary

CMC, a Fortune 500 company in the steel and construction reinforcement sector, seeks a senior leader in Denton, TX. You will own full P&L for the Anchoring business, drive growth, and lead cross-functional teams to execute safety, operational excellence, and strategic initiatives.

Expect to shape pricing, margins, and capital decisions while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement across the organization; you will guide the EOS framework and develop leaders for long-term

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in construction, manufacturing, or engineered products environments.
  • Proven experience leading a construction-related, manufacturing, or engineered products business with full P&L accountability.
  • Strong background in general construction; related experience preferred (anchoring systems, construction materials, engineered solutions).
  • Demonstrated ability to set and execute growth strategy delivering market expansion and profitability.
  • Experience leading organizations through EOS or similar operating systems with disciplined execution.
  • High level of commercial and financial acumen including pricing and margin management.
  • Strong leadership presence to influence at executive level.
  • Track record of building high-performing teams and developing leaders.
  • Commitment to safety leadership and continuous improvement.
  • Experience in Transmission & Distribution, Utilities, or EPC firms is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead safety leadership efforts, ensuring safety is a core value and integrated into daily operations and decision-making.
  • Own full P&L accountability for the Anchoring business, including revenue, margin, EBITDA, and continuous improvement results.
  • Manage operational excellence by implementing the EOS framework, fostering a culture of accountability, measurable KPIs, quarterly priorities, and disciplined execution.
  • Drive commercial strategy and performance, including market positioning, pricing discipline, margin management, and strategic customer focus.
  • Oversee and align sales, operations, engineering, and support functions to ensure commercial commitments are executable and profitable.
  • Establish and reinforce a culture of continuous improvement, data-driven decision-making, and operational excellence.
  • Be the onsite visionary always looking to transform the business for growth.
  • Drive new product development strategy and implementation to support manufacturing capacity and customer needs.
