Thomson Reuters is seeking a Director, Forward Deployed Solutions (AI) to lead a customer-facing Professional Services function that helps customers adopt and realize value from AI-enabled legal, tax, and professional-information solutions. This leader will manage a team of senior professionals and own the operating model for high-quality engagements, balancing demand, capacity, and financial performance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Professional Services, solutions delivery, or related customer-facing tech environments.
• 5+ years of people leadership experience, managing senior professionals and delivery leaders.
• Experience leading a Professional Services or solutions-delivery function with capacity and performance accountability.
• Experience shaping complex enterprise engagements from discovery to value realization.
• Experience managing services financials including budgets, forecasts, and margins.
• Proven ability to partner with Sales while maintaining delivery discipline and customer outcomes.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Forward Deployed Solutions team for Legal and Tax engagements.
• Establish operating model for intake, staffing, delivery governance and portfolio reporting.
• Own the annual operating plan including demand, capacity, budget and investments.
• Use data to improve resourcing, predictability, and portfolio efficiency.
• Shape opportunities with Sales and commercial leaders with clear scopes and plans.
• Support executive-level discovery, discussions, and steering forums.
• Ensure alignment between pipeline and delivery capacity, managing constraints.
• Establish standards for discovery, design, engagement planning, and handoffs.
• Lead resolution and recovery for complex, at-risk engagements.
• Coach and retain a high-performing team with career growth.
