JPMorgan Chase in Wilmington, DE seeks a Director of Software Engineering to lead multiple technical domains within Consumer & Community Banking Operations Technology. You will drive strategic platform development, champion best practices, and deliver scalable, resilient, user-centric solutions.

Lead cross-functional technologists, shape AI-enabled engineering adoption, and partner with executives to align technology with business objectives.

Qualifications

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 10+ years applied experience.
Experience leading technologists to manage and solve complex technical items.
Experience leading cross-functional teams of technologists.
Experience adopting agentic AI-enabled engineering practices across teams.

Responsibilities

Leads multiple technology and process implementations across departments to achieve firmwide technology objectives.
Directly manages multiple areas with strategic transactional focus.
Sets and scales multi-department strategy for agentic AI-enabled engineering and SDLC/TLM automation to drive firmwide objectives.
Applies knowledge of SDLC toolchains and AI-assisted development to drive cross-domain reuse.
Provides leadership and direction to teams across platforms, divisions, and lines of business.
Acts as the primary interface with senior leaders, stakeholders, and executives, driving consensus.
Manages multiple stakeholders, complex projects, and large cross-product collaborations.
Influences senior leaders across business, product, and technology teams.
