Job summary

Citi is hiring a Director for Operations Agentic Workflow & Implementation to lead the design and scaled delivery of AI-enabled automation across the firm. This role partners with Operations, Technology, Product and Risk to embed agentic AI into production, delivering measurable business outcomes in high-volume, compliance-sensitive environments.

The position requires senior leadership experience, strategic planning, and a track record of cross-functional execution at scale.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in operations or related function with leadership experience
• Ability to lead strategic planning across cross-functional environments with budget accountability
• Deep knowledge of operational process design and automation applications
• Commercial acumen with analytical capability and risk/reward understanding
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with senior stakeholders across functions

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design and implementation of agentic AI workflows across the firm
• Define strategic direction for AI-enabled operations with governance and metrics
• Partner with Operations, Technology, Product, and Risk to redesign processes and embed AI agents
• Implement a measurement framework tracking cost efficiency, cycle time, accuracy, risk reduction, and employee experience
• Manage transition of AI solutions from pilot to production with robust controls
• Lead and develop senior operations managers and oversee hiring and team structure
• Influence senior leadership to align AI priorities with business strategy and risk appetite
