Job summary

Amgen seeks a Director of Marketing AI Capabilities to lead the scale of AI-enabled marketing capabilities across the organization. You will connect external AI trends with internal transformation, shaping strategies, operating models, and partnerships to deliver measurable business impact.

You will design future-state marketing operating models, drive governance, and ensure AI integration into day-to-day execution, while aligning talent initiatives with the AI-enabled marketer vision.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree with 4+ years in marketing, digital, technology, or commercial operations.
• Master’s degree with 6+ years in marketing, digital, technology, or commercial operations.
• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years in marketing, digital, technology, or commercial operations.
• At least 5 years' experience directly managing people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs, or directing resources.

Responsibilities

• External Landscape & Strategic Foresight: monitor AI, digital marketing, data, and customer engagement trends; identify disruptive shifts in customer behaviors and personalization expectations.
• Future of Marketing: design and implement new technology, operating models, and partnerships; lead critical technology initiatives like the Marketing Command Center.
• External Enterprise Partnerships & Innovation: manage partnerships with AI vendors and agencies; lead pilots and pilots to accelerate innovation.
• Change Leadership & Organizational Enablement: drive readiness and enable AI-enabled ways of working; build capability-building programs and lead cross-functional teams.
