Job summary

ServiceNow is seeking a Director of Engineering to lead the architecture, delivery, and evolution of HR Service Delivery (HRSD) services. You will head an org of ~20 engineers building data-rich, scalable, cloud services powering employee experiences across the platform.

You will drive AI-assisted development, adoption of automation, and high-quality engineering practices while partnering with Product, Design, and leadership to deliver customer value at scale.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering experience with enterprise-scale products and services.
• 5+ years of engineering leadership experience, including managing managers and senior technical leaders.
• Proven track record of driving technical strategy and execution across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, delivery, and operation of HRSD services within ServiceNow.
• Define long-term architectural strategy to improve scalability, reliability, and security.
• Drive AI-assisted engineering practices, automation, and productivity across the org.
• Build and mentor high-performing engineering teams and leaders.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Customer Success, and executive leadership to align priorities.
