Job summary

Over-the-Rhine Community Housing seeks a Director of Advancement to lead fundraising and marketing efforts, cultivating donors, creating gift strategies, and overseeing stewardship. This role reports to the Executive Director and supervises the Grant Writer and Philanthropy Engagement Coordinator.

You will develop annual giving campaigns, manage events and sponsorships, shape branding, social media, and website updates, and partner with the Board on donor solicitation and communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least 7 years of related fundraising experience.
• CFRE certification preferred.
• Proven ability to develop and execute fundraising strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience coordinating campaigns and events.

Responsibilities

• Guide strategic vision with the Executive Director and Board.
• Develop and coordinate annual giving campaigns.
• Plan and implement special events with Grants and Donor Engagement teams.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with corporate foundations and major donors.
• Create solicitation strategies and secure gifts with volunteers or solo.
• Involve board members in donor relations and stewardship.
• Oversee production of annual reports, newsletters, and gift proposals.
• Lead direct mail and electronic appeals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet departmental needs.
• Represent the organization at events and with the media.
