Job summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking a Director of Advanced Technology Programs based in Reno, NV. Lead all phases of program execution from inception to closeout, manage program teams, and coordinate with the VP Programs in Propulsion Controls within the Strategic Systems Division.

The role requires extensive DoW program management experience, CSP knowledge, and strong executive communication to drive strategic outcomes and new business opportunities across functions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of direct program management experience with Department of War (DoW).
• Extensive knowledge and experience with controllable solid propulsion (CSP) capabilities and technologies.
• Proven ability to interact with executive level management and communicate effectively.
• Ability to collaborate with business development, proposal management, program finance, and other functions.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and monitors project(s) to ensure work scope, schedule, and budget are maintained; responsible for the project level profit and loss.
• Defines, generates, and reviews project management related material.
• Works with peers to ensure resources such as engineering, manpower, production, and facilities are defined and available for the program.
• Ensures program deliverables are met and risks/issues are addressed early and escalated as needed.
• Serves as primary customer contact for project information and pursues follow-on and new business opportunities.
• Participates in customer meetings, peer reviews, and problem-solving meetings.
• Supports internal/external programs and pursuit reviews within the Strategic Systems Division.
• Conducts Executive Management Program Reviews (EMPRs) and quarterly CEACs for all Advanced Technology Programs.
• Complies with Voyager QMS and company policies and procedures.
