Arrowhead Behavioral Health, part of Universal Health Services, is seeking a Director of Admissions & Referrals to lead assessment and referral operations for adults with psychiatric and chemical dependency needs. You will oversee clinical evaluations, crisis intervention, and referrals while supervising the reception team.

Collaborate with medical staff and hospital administration to ensure timely, coordinated patient access to care and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing; Master's preferred.
• MSW with LSW in Ohio would be a plus.
• Minimum 3 years in field; supervision experience required (2 years).
• Must have valid RN license in Ohio or LSW in Ohio.

Responsabilidades

• Directs screening of potential patients for admission and initiates integrated assessment.
• Assists admin, physicians and clinical staff in assessment of pending admits for appropriateness of level of care.
• Decides level of care using approved admission criteria and least restrictive option.
• Plans, coordinates and evaluates direct/indirect facility assessments and patient admissions.
• Ensures vital patient assessment information is referred to attending physicians and is complete for proper care decisions.
• Prepares morning reports communicating census, referrals, admissions and discharges.
• Collaborates to develop and monitor a target-marketing plan for the program.
• Ensures insurance verification processes are complete and data clarified with staff.
