Job summary

Arrowhead Behavioral Health, LLC is seeking a Director of Admissions & Referrals to lead assessment and referral operations at a private behavioral health facility near Toledo, Ohio. You will supervise staff delivering psychiatric evaluations, crisis intervention and timely referrals, coordinating with medical staff and case managers to secure access to care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing; Master’s degree preferred.
• MSW with Ohio LSW credential.
• 3+ years of psychiatric/chemical dependency experience; supervision 2+ years.

Responsibilities

• Screen potential patients for admission and initiate integrated assessment.
• Assist administration and staff in assessing pending admits for level of care.
• Decide level of care using approved admission criteria.
• Plan and evaluate facility assessments and patient admissions.
• Ensure vital assessment data is referred to attending physicians.
• Prepare census and referral reports each morning.
• Collaborate on target-marketing plan with Business Development.
• Clarify data with business office to complete insurance verification.
