North Star Behavioral Health, Alaska's premier mental health facility, seeks a Director of Admissions to lead the Intake & Admissions Department. You will plan, organize, and supervise patient assessment and referral processes, ensuring timely and high-quality access to care for children, adolescents, and adults through specialized programs.

A distinguished leadership role with growth within the UHS network is offered.

Competenze

• Master's degree in psychology or social work required (or active RN licensure).
• 3 years of intake counseling experience in mental health settings or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisor experience managing personnel.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Mansioni

• Oversee the Intake & Admissions staff to ensure effective service delivery.
• Manage daily operations of the Intake & Admissions Department.
• Maintain knowledge of community resources to address patient needs.
• Serve as representative of the Intake & Admissions Department in hospital matters.
• Ensure compliance with patient rights, involuntary detentions, and related policies.
• Oversee staffing, performance evaluations and staff development.
