Qualifications

• Experience in admissions, marketing, or business development in a skilled nursing facility.
• Established relationships with hospital and community referral sources in the NYC metro area.
• Working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care admissions.
• Strong communication skills and a go-getter mindset.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the admissions process from referral to move-in
• Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, discharge planners, case managers, and community referral sources
• Evaluate referrals quickly and coordinate clinical review with nursing and interdisciplinary teams
• Drive census and payer mix goals in partnership with the Administrator
• Guide families through admission decisions with clarity and confidence
• Track referral sources, conversion rates, and admissions metrics
• Work closely with nursing, social services, therapy, and business office teams
