Job summary

Complete Care is seeking an Admissions Director to lead the admissions process, drive census growth, and manage referral networks. The role requires strong relationship-building, teamwork, and clear communication to ensure residents begin their journey with excellence.

Responsibilities include reviewing referrals, screening applications, coordinating onboarding, and ensuring HIPAA-compliant documentation across departments. Prior experience in healthcare admissions and EMR systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• High-volume admissions experience in healthcare or senior living.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding census targets.
• Knowledge of admissions documentation, screening procedures, and patient safety regulations.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and handle cross-coverage duties.

Responsibilities

• Promptly review and respond to referrals from hospital case managers and physicians.
• Evaluate applications and health conditions against admission criteria.
• Complete admission forms, contracts, and packets accurately.
• Verify health insurance coverage and pre-authorizations (Medicare/Medicaid).
• Serve as primary contact during transition; conduct tours and address concerns.
• Collaborate with nursing, social services, and dietary for room readiness.
