Job summary

MTA New York City Transit’s Access-A-Ride program is a federally mandated paratransit service that operates under the ADA. The Director Compliance will oversee day-to-day compliance with ADA, FTA guidance, and Language Access requirements, ensuring policies are followed and reporting is accurate.

The role requires a strong background in labor relations, business/compliance, and at least eight years of related experience, including five in management, with the ability to coordinate with the Law

Qualifications

• Eight years of full-time related experience, at least five in a managerial/supervisory capacity.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Labor Relations, Business Administration, Compliance) or equivalent.
• JD preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Paratransit day-to-day activities for ADA and FTA compliance.
• Oversee Title VI reporting, FOIL requests, and legal document responses.
• Coordinate between Paratransit, Law Department, and procurement to ensure policy compliance.
• Lead staff training on mandated Paratransit requirements.
