Job summary

The Rapid in Grand Rapids is seeking a Director of Paratransit, ADA Program and Mobility Services to lead our specialized transportation programs on-site in Grand Rapids, MI. You will oversee GO! Bus, Ride Link, and related services, ensuring safe, reliable, and customer-focused operations.

Lead a team, manage contracts and budgets, and coordinate with regulatory agencies to maintain ADA compliance and high service quality for our mobility programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in public administration, transportation planning, or related field; seven years of management in public transportation or ADA/paratransit preferred.
• Master's degree can substitute for 2 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for paratransit, ADA program, and mobility services.
• Manage contracts, budgeting, scheduling, dispatching, and reporting to the Board.
• Ensure compliance with ADA laws and service standards.
• Coordinate with partners, agencies, and regulators to improve access and performance.
