Beacon Hill Solutions Group, LLC in Augusta, Maine is seeking a Director of Accounting to lead and strengthen its accounting function. This hands-on leadership role has ownership of the close, general ledger, consolidations, technical accounting, controls, and audit readiness across a multi-entity organization.

The ideal candidate is a CPA with 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, strong U.S. GAAP expertise, and a track record of building disciplined processes while developing teams

Qualifications

• CPA with 10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong U.S. GAAP technical accounting expertise.
• Experience leading multi-entity consolidations and audits.
• Proven ability to build scalable accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead close, general ledger, and consolidations across multi-entity org.
• Oversee external audit preparation and internal controls.
• Develop and coach accounting team members.
• Partner with Finance and other leaders to optimize systems and integration.
• Support acquisitions integration and purchase accounting.
