Job summary

First Source Medical Staffing seeks a Director of Accounting to oversee accounting operations for a diversified group of affiliated companies, supervising teams across multiple locations and driving the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.

The ideal candidate will lead ERP initiatives, enhance internal controls, and leverage QuickBooks experience to support system transitions and financial operations. This role reports to senior leadership and oversees the accounting team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with supervisory or management responsibility.
• Experience managing accounting operations for multiple companies, subsidiaries, or affiliated entities.
• Strong background with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• ERP implementation, system conversion, or finance transformation preferred.
• Experience with QuickBooks and multi-entity consolidations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules.
• Analyze financial performance and provide variance analysis and insights to leadership.
• Maintain GAAP compliance and internal controls.
• Monitor general ledger integrity and reporting accuracy.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities across multiple entities.
• Prepare entity-level and consolidated financial statements.
• Oversee intercompany transactions, eliminations, and consolidations.
• Lead ERP initiatives, data migrations, testing, and end-user training.
• Mentor and develop accounting staff and foster a collaborative culture.
• Support audit readiness and regulatory compliance.
