Keller Executive Search is seeking a Director of Accounting to standardize practices, lead accounting across multiple entities, and drive timely, accurate financial reporting. The role focuses on process improvement, strong controls, and impactful collaboration with executive leadership.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in accounting leadership, deep U.S. GAAP knowledge, and experience supervising remote teams. CPA preferred; base salary ranges with benefits and bonus upon performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience including leadership.
• Experience managing multi-entity accounting environments.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Experience overseeing month-end close in complex organizations.
• Experience supervising remote teams.
• Proficiency with cloud-based accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks Online).
• CPA designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting operations across multiple legal entities and locations.
• Drive month-end close with a target Day 10 close timeline.
• Standardise policies, COA, and reporting frameworks.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee audits and coordinate with external auditors.
• Develop and manage rolling 8-week cash flow forecasts.
• Establish internal controls and financial governance.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, including remote teams.
• Support integration of newly acquired entities and system alignment.
• Partner with executives to deliver clear, decision-ready financial insights.
• Identify and resolve reporting discrepancies and risks.
