Job summary

Carter Mackenzie International in Boulder, CO seeks a senior accounting leader to oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close, ensure US GAAP compliance, and establish robust reconciliation standards. You will lead the accounting team across GL, payroll, and accounts payable.

The role partners with Treasury on cash forecasting, reviews bank reconciliations, and drives process improvements and automation across the ERP ecosystem. Public accounting experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• 5+ years of supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• Experience leading month-end close.
• Experience managing general ledger, accounts payable, and cash accounting.
• Experience implementing accounting process improvements and automation.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Public accounting experience strongly preferred.
