The Rapid in Grand Rapids, MI seeks a Director of Paratransit, ADA Program and Mobility Services to lead our specialized transportation programs and ensure safe, reliable, customer-focused service. You will oversee GO!

Bus, Ride Link, PASS, ADA certification, travel training, scheduling, and dispatch, while partnering with contracted providers and regulatory agencies. This executive role requires a Bachelor's in Public Administration (or related field) with substantial public transportation

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field with 7 years of progressively responsible management experience in public transportation, ADA paratransit, mobility management, or related field.
• A master's degree can substitute for 2 years of experience as outlined above.
• Experience administering federally funded transportation programs preferred.
• Experience managing ADA complementary paratransit strongly preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead GO! Bus, Ride Link, Community Mental Health trips, and PASS ADA programs with oversight.
• Develop, plan, and administer department operating budget and contracts with providers.
• Ensure compliance with ADA laws and regulations and coordinate with regulatory agencies.
• Coordinate specialized services with other public and transportation services to improve coordination.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly and annual reports and analyses for the Board of Directors.
• Support Consumer Advisory Committee and engage with community partners on transportation issues.
