Job summary

Chromalloy is seeking a Director, NPI Strategy - Engine Component Repair Services (ECRS) Segments (New Engines) to lead the development and execution of the NPI strategy across Aero, Power Generation, Military, and APU engine platforms.

The role requires at least 10 years in aerospace engineering, strong leadership, and proven ability to build business cases and collaborate across global teams. Remote work from US East, with domestic and international travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related field; Master's preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of aerospace or industrial gas turbine engineering experience.
• Proven cross-functional leadership in a complex matrix organization.
• Experience building business cases, product strategies, and growth initiatives.
• Strong customer-facing experience including technical sales support & business development.
• Knowledge of Aero, Aeroderivative, Heavy Industrial Gas Turbine, Military, and APU platforms; regulatory awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead the NPI strategy for ECRS segments across engine platforms.
• Evaluate repair portfolio, identify gaps, and develop growth strategies.
• Build and present business cases for new repair capabilities and salvage programs.
• Collaborate with sites, ECOE, Business Development, and Customer Support to execute NPI initiatives.
• Manage NPI portfolio using data on yield, inspection, and repair performance.
• Engage with global customers to assess market demand and opportunities.
• Support OEM and FAA-DER repair development and approvals as needed.
• Drive strategic capability placement and long-term platform plans.
