Job summary

Hamilton-Madison House is seeking a Program Director for the Chatham Green/Confucius Plaza NORC in New York. The role leads operations, partnerships, and service coordination to support residents age 60+.

You will align services with contractual goals and manage program development and community engagement. Reports to the Assistant Executive Director of Older Adults and Community Services; you will supervise MSW-level staff, oversee training, and ensure compliance with standards while delivering

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a relevant field; MSW or LMSW preferred.
• Nonprofit management experience required; director-level preferred.
• Strong supervisory and staff development experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; collaboration with diverse groups.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee program activities in line with contractual obligations.
• Oversee evidence-based programs and health indicator programs per contract.
• Foster communication and cooperation among diverse community groups.
• Lead interdisciplinary case conferences and supervise MSW staff and interns.
• Ensure compliance with professional standards and program guidelines.
• Manage partnerships, reporting, and contract/fiscal oversight with stakeholders.
