Job summary

HANAC, Inc. seeks a Program Director (NORC) to provide full operational oversight of the Queensview Older Adult Center in Queens. This role leads staff, ensures high-quality programming, and maintains DFTA contract compliance.

The position reports to the Director of Programs and Development and carries a full-time schedule with flexibility for center operations and events. Salary is commensurate with responsibilities and experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field with 2+ years working with aging populations (DFTA knowledge a plus).
• Associate Degree with 3+ years working with aging populations and senior center operations (DFTA knowledge a plus).
• Strong program management and operational oversight skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee senior center operations and ensure consistent service delivery.
• Develop and implement innovative programming for healthy aging and member engagement.
• Plan activities compliant with DFTA requirements (exercise, nutrition, arts, tech, education).
• Maintain client records and DFTA databases, and track participation and units of service.
• Lead staff, interns, and volunteers; set annual goals and conduct evaluations.
