Job summary

Exostar is seeking a Director of Product Management, New Product Growth to lead a new growth function. You will source, validate, prototype, and pilot ideas, guiding them through a stage-gate process and into initial commercial launches.

You’ll manage a team of discovery Product Managers and Product Designers, collaborate with Engineering, and partner across Sales, Marketing, Security, and Finance to bring new products to market.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in product management, including 5+ years leading product teams in B2B SaaS.
• Portfolio management and product lifecycle management experience.
• Experience building/scaling a two-sided marketplace or network product.
• Track record of taking new products from zero to first paying customers.
• Strong customer discovery skills including interviews and prototype testing.
• Experience leading PMs and Product Designers.
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the innovation portfolio and the stage-gate process; size ideas and validate with customers.
• Lead discovery with prime contractors, Tier 1 buyers, and suppliers to identify problems worth solving.
• Run voice of market programs and early adopters to inform investment decisions.
• Develop strategies for building a two-sided network and drive engagement on both sides.
• Hire, lead, and develop discovery PMs and product designers; manage engineers.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Security, Operations, Legal and Finance on launches.
• Report results to the CPO, executive team, and the board with evidence-based recommendations.
