Alvarez & Marsal in the United States seeks a Disputes and Investigations Director to lead cross-functional teams on national security risk analyses, Zero Trust architectures, IAM controls, and regulatory compliance. You will prepare detailed reports for senior counsel and executives and drive project governance.

The role requires 8+ years in technology firms delivering controlled tech, strong knowledge of NIST/ISO frameworks, cloud/big-data experience, and the ability to obtain a US government

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with technology companies delivering controlled technology nationally and internationally.
• Experience with NIST CSF, NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-171, NIST SP 800-218, NIST SP 800-161, and/or ISO 27001.
• Experience working in cybersecurity governance (NIST CSF; NIST 800-171/53; CIS-18 IG1 and ISO 27001).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java).
• Background in network and cloud-based platforms (GCP, AWS, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies and deployments.
• Experience with Big Data platforms (on prem and cloud).
• Ability to obtain a USG security clearance.
• One or more relevant industry certification: CompTIA Security+, CompTIA CySA+, CompTIA CASP+, CISSP, CISM, CISA, ISO 27001, or comparable certifications.

Responsabilités

• Lead cross-functional project teams in advisory, oversight, and audit projects related to FDI national security reviews, export and technology controls, and CMMC.
• Design and implement Zero Trust architecture frameworks and IAM solutions, including PAM, RBAC, and continuous authentication.
• Conduct enterprise-wide security assessments focusing on identity governance and Zero Trust implementation.
• Direct comprehensive security assessments of applications and software and prepare technical reports for counsel and executives.
• Analyze penetration test results and develop remediation roadmaps.
• Implement and integrate SIEM, IGA, and PAM solutions for automated compliance monitoring.
• Create and maintain project governance artifacts and reporting mechanisms.
• Travel up to 20% to client sites and assessment locations.
