Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) seeks a Disputes and Investigations Director to lead national security risk analysis projects for clients across industries in the United States.

You will design Zero Trust architectures and IAM controls, oversee security assessments, coordinate DevSecOps reviews, and mentor staff while delivering detailed technical reports to senior counsel and executives.

This role requires up to 20% travel to client sites and security assessment locations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with technology companies delivering controlled technology nationally and internationally.
• Experience with NIST CSF, NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-171, NIST SP 800-218, NIST SP 800-161, and ISO 27001.
• Experience in cybersecurity governance and working with NIST CSF, SP 800-171/53; CIS-18 IG1 and ISO 27001.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java).
• Background in cloud-based platforms (GCP, AWS) and containerization; Big Data experience.
• Ability to obtain a USG security clearance; relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA).

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional projects on national security reviews, export controls, and CMMC for a variety of clients.
• Design and implement Zero Trust architectures and IAM solutions with PAM and RBAC.
• Conduct enterprise security assessments focusing on identity governance and least-privilege access.
• Review architectures, interview DevSecOps teams, evaluate IAM integration, and oversee code analysis and penetration testing.
• Develop remediation roadmaps and integrate SIEM, IGA, and PAM tools for automated compliance.
• Create project artifacts and governance frameworks; travel up to 20% to client sites.
