Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) is seeking a Disputes and Investigations Director in the United States to lead cross-functional teams through advisory, oversight, and audit projects focused on national security and technology controls. The role emphasizes Zero Trust, IAM, and regulatory compliance with a strong emphasis on actions that protect sensitive data.

You will work with senior counsel and executives, applying deep expertise in security frameworks and risk reduction.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technology and security governance
• Experience with NIST CSF, 800-53 and 27001 frameworks
• Background in cloud, big data, and secure architectures

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams on national security reviews and audits (FDI, export controls, CMMC).
• Design Zero Trust architectures and IAM solutions including PAM and RBAC.
• Conduct enterprise security assessments focusing on identity governance and Zero Trust.
• Review architecture diagrams and DevSecOps interviews; evaluate IAM integrations.
• Oversee code reviews, penetration testing, and detailed reports for counsel and executives.
• Analyze penetration results; develop remediation roadmaps aligned with enterprise standards.
• Implement SIEM, IGA, and PAM for automated compliance monitoring.
• Create project governance artifacts and reporting mechanisms.
• Available for up to 20% travel to client sites.
