Job Title: Director, National Partnerships

Classification: Grade 8: Salary from $84,000.00/yr

FLSA Status: Exempt | Full Time

Supervisor (title): VP, National Partnerships

Location: Remote

POSITION SUMMARY

The Director, National Partnerships, is accountable for the development of relationships with corporations and industry partners with the goal of obtaining and increasing revenue and engagement. This individual will work with interdepartmental colleagues to develop strategic plans and proposals to achieve account growth and drive new business.

Within the Foundation

Works closely with interdepartmental colleagues and market staff and volunteers. Frequent and relevant interaction occurs with cross departmental colleagues - Development, Research, Mission, Advocacy, Science and Marketing. Collaborates with Regions to ensure regional/local opportunities are optimized with national sponsors to meet campaign objectives. Serves on committees and task forces as needed.

Outside the Foundation

Develops and maintains working relationships with corporations, industry partners, professionals, agencies, and trade associations to solicit funds, arrange cause campaigns, corporate sponsorships, and collaborative projects to raise revenue for the Foundation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibility #1: Achieve fundraising goals for the corporate revenue line by managing a portfolio generating at least $2,500,000 annually.

Responsibility #2: Establish a regular cadence for client/prospect cultivation and stewardship to ensure year-round engagement across various departments and contacts within partner companies.

Responsibility #3: Collaborate with the Corporate Relationship Manager to ensure contracts are properly managed, deliverables fulfilled, and reports completed.

Responsibility #4: Update CRM system weekly and maintain accurate account documentation.

Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field; minimum of five years’ experience in sales and strategic account management, with a history of selling 6+ figure national partnerships and exceeding income goals.
  • Experience creating sales solutions involving advocacy, patient and physician engagement, retail activation, and consumer engagement aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Ability to identify, target, and build new business opportunities to maximize fundraising potential.
  • Innovative, driven, and curious to activate new income-building strategies.
  • Ability to work under multiple deadlines; travel and weekend work required.
