Job summary

Caris Life Sciences is seeking a Director - Molecular Science Liaisons to build and lead a national MSL team. The role focuses on communicating the value of Caris Molecular Intelligence to physicians, scientists, and other experts through face-to-face discussions and regional/national engagements.

Requires a PhD/MD/PharmD in a biological science and >=3 years of management experience, with preference for pharma/Commercial lab exposure. Travel and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Ph.D., PharmD, or MD in a biological science related to pharmacology, cancer biology, or molecular and cellular biology or equivalent training and experience required.
• 3+ years of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Molecular Science Liaison (MSL) team.
• Provide recommendations on national staffing plans.
• Create and coordinate training/enabling plans for MSLs.
• Track MSL activity and customer interactions.
• Act as conduit between medical community and Caris Life Sciences for products and needs.
• Conduct medical/scientific education and support for field org to increase Caris presence.
• Present clinical data to physician sites/conferences within region or nationally as required.
• Attend POA/Commercial meetings and key relationship events.
• Promote CMI to physician sites across the United States.
• Support and present at molecular tumor board meetings.
• Read/understand literature to maintain oncology knowledge for engagement.
• Assist in field training of contracted speakers as part of Speaker's Bureau.
• Function as field trainer to provide extension of Director of Training.
• Engage in regional speaking engagements with physicians to broaden CMI understanding.
• Attend regional/national tradeshows and participate in sales meetings to present data.
• Review marketing materials to reflect current molecular landscape.
