Job summary

USA Tech Recruit in Atlanta, GA seeks an experienced Technical Director Validation Engineer to lead validation of high-speed memory products. You will work closely with silicon, FPGA, systems, PCB and applications engineering teams to develop robust validation methodologies and automation.

The ideal candidate brings 20+ years in semiconductor validation, deep knowledge of DDR technologies, signal integrity, and hands-on lab bring-up.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of experience in semiconductor validation or related engineering.
• Strong experience with high-speed and/or memory I/O device validation.
• Experience with DDRx characterization, topologies and protocols.
• Strong understanding of high-speed signalling, signal integrity and power integrity.
• Hands-on experience with silicon bring-up, bench testing and characterization.
• Proficiency with oscilloscopes, BERTs, signal generators and other high-speed lab equipment.
• Strong Python and lab automation experience.
• Experience developing validation methodologies, test frameworks and data analysis tools.
• Ability to lead validation planning, characterization and methodology improvements.
• Experience working closely with silicon design, FPGA, systems and PCB engineering teams.
• Strong board design and hardware validation fundamentals.
• Excellent troubleshooting and debugging skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead validation of high-speed memory products and participate in design reviews.
• Collaborate with silicon, FPGA, systems, PCB and applications engineering teams.
• Develop validation methodologies, test frameworks and data analysis tools.
• Plan validation activities, characterization and methodology improvements.
• Hands-on lab work with characterization and equipment upkeep.
