Job summary

HCA Florida Mercy Hospital in Miami seeks a Director of Medical Staff Services to lead credentialing initiatives and ensure compliance across the medical staff. You will support policy adherence, integrate with clinical strategies, and guide CPC-related processes in a large hospital system.

The role requires 5+ years of credentialing experience and professional certifications; a bachelor’s degree in healthcare management or related field is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, business, or related field (or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years credentialing experience in an acute care hospital or CVO setting.
• Certification: CPMSM and/or CPCS within 2 years of hire; prior to Aug 1, 2025 must obtain by Sept 30, 2026.

• Assist with implementation and compliance of credentialing initiatives and processes.
• Maintain knowledge of HCA CPC policies and accreditation standards.
• Support integration of clinical strategies and HCA systems.
