Job summary

HCA Florida Osceola Hospital in Kissimmee, FL seeks a Director of Medical Staff Services to lead the MSO, directing credentialing activities and serving as the primary liaison with the Credential Processing Center.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, at least 3 years in a medical staff office, knowledge of State, Federal and JCAHO regulations, and prior credentialing experience in healthcare; Joint Commission standards knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 3 years of experience in a medical staff office required.
• Knowledge of State, Federal, and JCAHO regulations preferred.
• Previous credentialing and management experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Working knowledge of The Joint Commission accreditation process and standards, health care and credentialing industry, regulatory and legal requirements and other national standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direction and management of the medical services office (MSO) activities, and serves as the primary liaison between the hospital and Credential Processing Center (CPC) on process.
