Job summary

Pfizer seeks a Director, Medical Insights Platform Lead to own the IX platform architecture and build execution for the global Medical Insights team. You will drive technical direction, coordinate with Digital & Technology, Data Governance, and hosting teams, and prioritize AI-enabled innovations for the roadmap.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in pharma/tech, a strong technical degree, and proven leadership across cross-functional environments.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related technical field.
8+ years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical, life sciences, or technology industry.
Experience building, architecting, or leading development of data/analytics platforms.
Experience evaluating and piloting new data sources, methods, or AI/analytics approaches.

Responsibilities

Own the technical architecture and build execution for the Insights platform (IX).
Sequence build work across the platform roadmap across regions and business priorities.
Translate regional and business needs into technical requirements and a coherent product.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to resolve technical obstacles.
Drive evaluation of new data sources and AI approaches for the platform.
