Job summary

Pfizer is seeking a hands-on software engineer to own the delivery of the Medical Affairs AI Acceleration portfolio. You will turn architecture and product requirements into production-grade AI systems, shipping full-stack code and verifying AI-generated code with the same rigor as human-written code.

You will collaborate with Solution Architecture, Data Integration, Product Management, and UX teams to implement blueprints, integrate data sources, and deploy solutions through MVPs to production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• Experience building and shipping production software across the full stack in multiple languages/frameworks.
• Experience integrating AI/ML or LLM-based capabilities into production systems.
• Experience taking prototypes/MVPs through to production-grade, scalable systems.
• Experience with modern cloud architecture (AWS or Azure), API-first design, and CI/CD practice.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks.
• Strong verification and code-review discipline, including AI-generated code.
• Experience designing/optimizing LLM/agent prompts for token efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and ship production-grade software across the stack.
• Integrate Agentic AI, LLM-based capabilities, and RAG pipelines.
• Take validated prototypes/MVPs to production-grade systems.
• Write/maintain code meeting engineering standards.
• Document code, APIs, and system design decisions clearly.
