You will lead AI-enabled analytics, segmentation, and dashboards (SQL, Power BI, Databricks), oversee vendor resources, and guide cross-functional teams in a fast-paced onsite role reporting to the Senior Director, Medical Informatics.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in analytics, data science, statistics, computer science, engineering, public health, life sciences, business, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of analytics experience in pharma/biopharmaceutical/healthcare.
  • 3-5 years of advanced analytics applying to strategic business questions.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leadership and communicate complex analyses through concise data storytelling and executive-ready recommendations.
  • Experience leading cross-functional work, change management, capability building, and Agile project delivery.
  • Experience managing vendors, contingent resources, budgets, statements of work, and invoice approvals.
  • Experience coaching or mentoring team members; ability to lead direct reports if the role's organization expands.
  • Expertise with patient-level data, claims data, and real-world data, including appropriate analytical application and interpretation.
  • Hands-on proficiency with SQL, Power BI, and Databricks.
  • Strong experience with segmentation, targeting, prioritization, and related customer-analytics methodologies.
  • Ability to operate effectively in an onsite, cross-functional environment in Wilmington, Delaware.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Medical brand heads to translate data into actionable recommendations for business planning and patient-focused decision-making.
  • Design, implement, and govern Medical Affairs KPI frameworks, scorecards, and impact-assessment approaches.
  • Lead analytics for segmentation, targeting, prioritization, and resource planning using real-world data.
  • Identify and operationalize AI-enabled analytics, ML, Generative AI, automation to improve insight speed and quality.
  • Lead Medical Informatics platforms (CRM and ATLAS) and coordinate with IT, Data Science, AI, and product teams.
  • Develop dashboards and self-service analytics using SQL, Power BI, Databricks, ensuring usability and stakeholder alignment.
  • Drive cross-functional initiatives and represent Medical Informatics in governance forums.
  • Oversee change management, capability building, and mentoring of junior staff and project resources.
  • Manage vendor resources, budgets, statements of work, and invoice approvals.
  • Apply Agile practices to prioritize demand and deliver analytics within scope and timelines.
  • Maintain awareness of advanced analytics practices to strengthen decision support and analytics maturity.
