Omni Fiber, LLC. is seeking a Director of Market Engineering who will lead the Market Engineering Lead team and serve as the primary technical authority for fiber design and vendor escalations.

This full-time, remote role includes regular travel for business planning. You will own market-level design strategy, set vendor direction, and align with Construction, Permitting, and GIS to ensure design, permitting, and construction move forward with clear documentation and accountability across all

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience leading or managing a technical engineering team.
• Deep knowledge of aerial, underground, and fiber design and construction.
• Strong cross-functional communication with construction, permitting, and leadership.
• Ability to enforce design standards and vendor delivery commitments.
• Willingness to travel for business planning meetings.

Aufgaben

• Lead and coach Market Engineering Leads, ensuring end-to-end design ownership.
• Set design intent and vendor direction at the program level and review first-pass quality.
• Coordinate with Construction, Permitting/PMO, and GIS to align timelines and build plans.
• Represent engineering in cross-functional planning and resolve direction disputes.
• Monitor delivery performance and drive corrective actions.
