Job summary

Omni Fiber LLC is seeking a Director of Market Engineering to lead the Market Engineering Lead team and act as the primary technical authority for fiber design and vendor escalations. This full-time remote role reports to the VP of Engineering and drives market-level design strategy and vendor direction across multiple markets.

This position requires travel for business planning and close collaboration with Construction, Permitting and GIS to ensure aligned, documented plans and timely execution.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading a technical engineering team with people management.
• Deep knowledge of aerial, buried, underground and fiber design/construction.
• Strong proficiency with GIS/Esri and CAD-based design/QC tools.
• Ability to enforce technical standards and delivery commitments with vendors and teams.
• Excellent cross-functional communication with Construction, Permitting and leadership.
• Comfort with high-stakes design tradeoffs under time pressure.
• Maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and driving record.
• Willing to travel for business planning meetings as needed.

Responsibilities
